This video from oorail.com demonstrates the strength of the Hornby Class 56. The Class 56 was able to successfully haul a mix of 26 Parcel Vans, Mk1 and Mk2 coaches. The Class 56 was able to haul 32 pieces of mixed rolling stock (6 additional Mk1 coaches) unfortunately the design of the layout was putting a lot of strain on the spring-loaded Bachmann couplings which resulted in the parcels vans derailing around some of the second radius curves.
