This video from oorail features the LNER A4 Pacific Mallard in BR brunswick green. On July 3rd 1938, the Mallard achieved the world speed record for a steam locomotive at 126 mph, a record that still stands today - 75 years later. Mallard is one of six surviving A4 Pacific locomotives, the other five are 4464 Bittern, 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley, 60009 Union of South Africa, 60008 Dwight D Eisenhower and 60010 Dominon of Canada.
