This video from oorail.com looks at a power issue we ran into on the layout, it shows how we troubleshooted the issue with both the Train-Tech Track Tester as well as a Bachmann Class 03 shunter. The problem turned out to be a faulty set of fishplates which moved slightly when heavier locos moved over them. We fixed the problem by adding additional dropper wires to the loop.
